  1. Skua 1.2.5

    14 October 2026Recommended update
    • Fixed an error that could stop Skua saving your work in big folders on an external drive.
    • Stars and rejects from XMP files now show when you open a folder, so you can pick up work from Narrative, Lightroom or Bridge.

  2. Skua 1.2.4

    • RAW files now show the real photo instead of a blank or generic icon.
    • Ratings and edits on RAW files are saved in an XMP file that Lightroom, Capture One and Bridge can read. You can turn this off under More.
    • A RAW and a JPEG with the same name now show as one photo. Rate it once and both files get the rating.
    • Right-click a folder in the Finder and choose Cull images with Skua to open it.
    • Choose your own rating keys under Edit › Keyboard Shortcuts…

    • To move your license to another Mac, choose Remove from This Mac in the license window.

    • You can paste into the license key box and the rename field again.
    • ⌘⌥⌫ now resets edits instead of moving the photo to the Trash.
    • Undo a move to the Trash with ⌘Z or the Undo button.
    • Reset Edits now works on all selected photos at once.
